Greetings fellow graduate students and post-secondary stakeholders,
First and foremost I would like to thank Chris Skappak, the outgoing Chair, for all of his hard work, dedication, and insight this past year.
As the new 2010-2011 Alberta Graduate Council Chair, I am excited to introduce you to another edition of our newsletter. If you are new to us, the AGC is the official representation and point of advocacy for graduate students enrolled in Albertan institutions. During my term I, along with the other AGC members, will continue to pass on the concerns and ideas of fellow graduate students to the provincial government. In addition, I aim to strengthen communication between our governing bodies.
